i told grandma that i'm going out with a friend.. my grandma starts telling me stories about how kids and adults got kidnapped and transported to mines to work to their death.. how maids sold the kids they are to look after.. in attempt in telling me how dangerous my friend might be. ...- -
she went on for 2 hours or so.
like for god's sake this is beijing. the fking capital man. there're tens of thousands of kids out there on the streets every single day... oh well.
went out with my friend and had lunch, watched terminators. i loved that place called bluecoast.. well. its in chinese. but its a great place. like a small town of shops. no cars. and all buildings are of 3 levels high and the roof is great. there's a mini musical fountain ^^
lunched at the place called "da chang jin" = =| i wasn't expecting this.. but its noisy. the waitress all dressed up in the sorta korean thingy.. similiar to changjin. but they sell stuff at the price range of 5-6 sing... the portion is big too. i can't pick my choice = =| so i asked what's not spicy and asked the waitress to recommend something. then she's like.. "what if i recommend something and it is the expensive one" and i'm quite sure there's a smirk on her face... i did flip the menu. and if i'm bad tempered then i think it will be trouble for the place. that's a direct insult issn't it = =|.. unless that waitress is trying to joke around. = =... i mean there're ppl with kids running around and shouting.. there are ppl dressed up like christmas tree and come in with a family and look as if its a great occasion to have lunch there...
we got over it fast but now thinking back its really wtf.
apparently transformers is some big stuff around.. here's why i said it o. o.... i astonished "BUMBLEBEE" and she's like.. huh... *start wondering which shop has that name and looks arnd*
movie starts 1 hr after purchasing the tickets so we went around hunting for something to play. it was a huge place and we constantly asked the person at the information counter.. its like.. "hi its us again!"
arcade is cheap. 1 dollar / token. so.. if u put it in sing. u need 40 cents to play 1 round of timecrisis 3. yeah. i realized that i'm not bad x. x| there's this drum thing fun to play but tiring.. - -|. just zam. with a lil rythum. the songs were like. eh. funny to listen to. i mean drumbeats just dont really go with slow songs.. especially not when we are desperately trying to keep up with the beat and in the process messing up - -| oh well! thats fun still xD
underestimated the travel time and reached the cinema late. i tell you. those stairs in the dark arent popcorn friendly. = =|.
the movie er... pack a little surprise. it was kinda interesting. it wasn't as interesting as transformer 2 i think interms of action. although the latter is a lil messy. but the storyline wins it. yepp.
the hall is like the auditorium sorta seats... there's even the pen stopper in place =s. but there's sufficient space.. and audio system thats a lil too good.
movie ended and we walked around while waiting for her dad to come pick her up. the roof is windy and comes with a great view. its like living in a little town there. thunders sound occasionally and the wind is great. here's what all looked like from my point of view.. i loved the place. seriously. thankyou to whoever developed it. its just so peaceful. its not a good thing for the shopowners but hey. xD. its perhaps the least populated shopin' centre arnd in beijing...
when her dad called and we went into the mall looking for the way to the basement.. it started to pour. wind gushed open those closed doors and woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! RAIN!!!!!...
enjoyed it for a while then went on to search for the way.. there's a lift we saw. cargo lift thou.. we were like.. hmm... OKAY LETS GO. then there's this rule list in the lift.. right the first one. "no unauthorized personel / authorized personel with no cargo allowed" ... well its in chinese we were like.. "- -|.. oops"..
"okay i know."
"lets plan this."
"we're tourists and we cant read chinese"
i said.
"alright. yeah. i cant read chinese. ><"
oh well. nobody saw us when we came out so that wasn't necessary xD there..
the shops are in the sorta ancent style sorta town's outlook.. but what's under it.. is a hugeeeeeee underground carpark. its numbered alphabetically from A to F. with numbers behind the alphebet. lets just say we ended up in F and we had to find A. where her dad is going to give me a lift home. and we took the shortest route. walked for 15 minutes at decent pace before reaching A.. and her dad used 10 minutes wondering around in zone A trying to find us.
we stood beside this.. i really dont know where this thing is manufactured.. it looked like this. and there's no chinese on it!
oh well. great day @ a great place!! i shall go there again next time. ><
